VGP – Japanese recruitment companies
hail Vietnamese employees for their hard-working, diligence, skillfulness, and
eager to learn more working skills.
The
Overseas Employment Management Department under the Ministry of Labor, War
Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) and the Japan International Training
Cooperation Organization (JITCO) recently hosted a seminar, under which JITCO
expects more Vietnamese guest workers to Japan.
The cooperation between JITCO and the MOLISA
in vocational training and working skills has contributed to providing stable
income and reducing poverty for Vietnamese youth, according to MOLISA’s Deputy
Minister Doãn Mậu Diệp.
Việt Nam
ranks second among 14 countries which are sending trainees to Japan, said
JITCO’s Senior Vice-President Kensuke Tsuzuki.
Since 1992, Việt Nam
has sent 35,000 trainees to study and work in Japan. In addition, the number of
Vietnamese guest workers in Japan
in the model of parent and subsidy companies has been on the rise.
In 2010, the number of Vietnamese recruited
as trainees to Japan
went up 25% against 2009.
Chairman of the Việt Nam Labor Export
Association Nguyễn Lương Trào suggested that labor export companies pay more
attention to the selection and training of workers, language teaching, working
discipline, and providing job for graduated trainees after their working
contracts expire.
The seminar drew the participation of 82
Vietnamese labor export companies and 51 Japanese recruitment firms./.
