This vocational training college was established in 2012 by Mukai Construction Corporation to train the skilled workers who will come to work in Japan in the future in order to reduce the shortage workers at the construction sites in Japan.

The Japanese government is currently considering the possibility of hiring more foreign workers to work at the construction sites to meet the increasing demand to the reconstruction of Japan's northeastern region which affected by the earthquake and preparations for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

Students here will be not only trained the building skills but also learned how to read and write Japanese which is enough to be able to communicate at the construction sites. Currently, each student is allowed to work at the construction site of Mukai well as other partners of the consortium in Japan maximum of 3 years.
